Thermage treatments alleviate skin aging signs are at our Kelowna and Penticton clinics.
Thermage is the new, exciting non-surgical procedure that has been developed to help alleviate the signs of aging skin. It works by tightening tissue. It is currently used for treating brow, for periorbital (around the eye) wrinkles, and for sagging cheeks and jowls. The thermage procedure is also known as ThermaLift, ThermaCool, Thermal Lifting, ThermoPlasty, and Thermoplastic contouring. The effects of this non-invasive method are a tightening of loose skin with immediate collagen contraction, followed by new collagen production, which occurs over a period of time.

What is the Thermage procedure?
The Thermage procedure is an advanced way of tightening skin that requires only the touch of a sophisticated treatment tip to your skin. It is performed with an advanced radiofrequency device called ThermaCool TCTM, and requires no incisions or recovery time.
Is it safe?
The Thermage procedure is very safe. Although it is possible that skin damage can occur, this advanced treatment has been studied carefully in hundreds of patients with minimal reports of lasting adverse events.
How long does it take?
The Thermage procedure can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the area you are having treated. Additional time may be required for skin preparation prior to the procedure.
When will I see results?
Recently published studies show that improvements continue for at least 6 months after a single treatment session. Other studies show that thermal collagen changes can last several years, depending on the rate of the aging process.
