Medical Grade Dermapen™

How It Works

The Dermapen™ can help lift, tighten and rejuvenate skin and is able to produce great results and works best as a combination treatment with other anti aging protocols. Aesthetic Solutions features the Dermapen 3™, the most advanced and innovative model available for micro-needling in cosmetic treatments.

The Dermapen 3™ uses a disposable tip containing 12 microscopic needles which oscillate at a rate of close to 110 RPM. The needles then create tiny punctures in the skin’s surface which the body begins to repair and results in the production of healthy new collagen. The punctures also act as small channels that carry topical nutrients used during the treatment deep into skin layers for an increased effect. Because the needles oscillate as quickly as they do, the tip of the Dermapen 3™ can move across the skin, without catching or causing any dermal tearing producing optimal results.

Dermapen™ Micro-Needling Treatment

As with many cosmetic skin rejuvenation procedures the The Dermapen 3™ uses the body’s ability to replace damaged cells and repair the skin after micro-damage occurs. Micro-needling delivers micro punctures into the skin to create damage at the cellular level but unlike cosmetic lasers which deliver heat or thermal energy to target areas of the skin it allows for faster healing, requiring very little downtime.

The Dermapen 3™ can be used successfully to treat aging skin including; wrinkles, scarring, pigmentation disorders, sun damaged skin and stretch marks. Noticeable results can be seen after just one treatment although 4 to 6 treatments, 4-6 week apart, will be required to achieve a greater outcome with the skin continuing to improve 6-12 months after a series of Dermapen sessions. In addition, the Dermapen 3™ is a fantastic drug delivery device. Any product applied to the skin during or immediately after a Dermapen 3™ Treatment is very easily absorbed into the skin, rendering it much more effective than with a traditional topical application.
